Canon offering Locking Mode dial “Upgrade”

Starting December 6th, Canon is offering owners of their Eos 7D and  5D MkII camera’s a locking mode dial upgrade.  For the sum of $100 USD, Canon 7D and 5D MII users will be able to send in their camera bodies to Canon to have a locking mode dial installed on their cameras.  Nikon has included a locking mode dial on it’s new Nikon D7000.  Pentax introduced the locking mode dial last year with its K-7 camera and it is also included on the new K-5.  Source
