Pentax: A Silver Finish For A Sterling Camera

Pentax has announced that it will be releasing a Limited Edition of it’s Flagship DSLR camera, the Pentax K-5.  The K-5 will be offered in Pentax Limited Edition Silver as they have done for several of their previous DSLR cameras.  Photos after the break…

Not only will the K-5 get a silver face lift, but this limited edition will be sporting a new ergonomic hand grip. Availability is set for April 2011 with a suggested retail price of $1700.00 USD body only.

But Pentax didn’t stop there.  Of course they didn’t want the Silver K-5 to feel lonely so they gave the silver treatment to a few of their DA Limited lenses.  The DA 21mm f3.2 Limited, the DA 40mm f2.8 Limited, and DA 70mm f2.4 lenses will all be available in silver as well.  You can see the DA 40mm LTD in the photo above.
