Reading Terminal Market, Philadelphia, PA. A fun place to visit.

I unexpectedly found myself in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a few days ago.  I had a few hours to kill so I went for a little walk around the city and found myself in Reading Terminal Market.  some more photos and the rest of the story after the break.  Reading Terminal Market reminds me of an old farmer’s style market from when I was a kid, except just a bit more upscale.   The market is dominated by mini restaurants and speciality food markets.  If I lived in the city I’d probably shop for my meats and produce here.  Fish markets and butcher shots are scattered throughout the market.  There are also several bakeries, restaurants, and food speciality shops. I’m sure you could find just about anything you were looking for.  While walking around the market, I did manage to take a few shots of the local sights.  It was a great experience.  If you ever find yourself in center city Philadelphia, be sure to stop by the Reading Terminal Market.  You wont be disappointed.   You can find more photos of my trip in the “Street Photography” thread in the forum at this link.   Thanks for looking  :)

Sounds like a very fun place to walk around and explore. I love little areas like this. There are quiet a few little market set ups like this in Hawaii. You did a great job capturing these images and the processing is very suitable for each image.
