DSLR Cameras In Short Supply In The Wake Of Japan Earthquake

USA Today is reporting that the major camera manufacturers are having problems getting several high end DSLR camera models to retailers in the wake of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.  Rolling blackouts and the lack of supplies are making ti difficult for camera makers to keep up with demand on certain DSLR models.  Retailers such as B&H Photo, Adorama, and some big box stores like Target and Best Buy have many DSLR models and some point and shoot models out of stock.  Canon is estimating that the fallout of the recent disaster will reduce their earnings for the year by 29%.  Canon is estimating that operations will return to normal by June or July.  If you would like to read the full article at USA Today you can click this link
